The security challenges in M&A

A great deal of analysis goes into the financials of a deal, but the technical and information security risk is frequently missed. What due diligence should cover

Assessing how well the target protects its information, whether it meets its data protection obligations, and what risks would transfer on acquisition. Even where the target will be integrated into the acquirer's systems, that process takes time and can introduce risk.
